What FixBook is

FixBook is a directory. We list businesses and help you contact them. We do not perform, supervise or guarantee any service, and any agreement is between you and the business. Always check qualifications, registrations (for example an electrician's Certificate of Compliance ability, a plumber's PIRB registration or a security company's PSIRA registration) and quotes before you hire.

Listing information

We work to keep listings accurate but information can change or be wrong. Opening hours and contact details come from the business or public sources. Tell us about mistakes through the correction form.

Reviews

Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of abuse, personal information and links. We may decline or remove reviews that break these rules. Businesses may not pay for, write or remove genuine reviews.

Business owners

If you claim a listing you confirm you are authorised to act for the business. Changes to key details are checked by our team before they go live. Featured placement is paid advertising and is labelled.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape FixBook, submit false requests, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may block abusive traffic.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, FixBook is not liable for loss arising from your use of a business found through the directory. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
